Explore Materials and Techniques
Every rug we make is built entirely by hand, using one of five time-honoured techniques and a considered range of natural fibres. Here is how each is made, and the spaces it was made for.

Wool
Resilient and rich underfoot. The backbone of most heirloom pieces.
Silk
Luminous and fine, catching light from every angle. For detail and sheen.
Bamboo Silk
The lustre of silk with a softer drape and a sustainable origin.
Cotton
Soft and breathable. Often forming flatweaves and foundations.
Jute
Earthy and robust, bringing an organic, grounded character.
Considered Blends
Wool-silk and others, balanced to let each fibre lead the design.

Do you customise single rugs as well?
